VIENNA CONTEMPORARY 2019

Golran rugs have been selected by viennacontemporary 2019 for the VIP Lounge. Two carpets of the Shadows collection in a bright yellow and a warmer orange tone designed by Isabella Sodi for the editor and one Meteo rug designed by French design Inga Sempé added a warm shade of colour to this common space where people lingered on to find a relaxing moment during the fair.

With more than 110 participating galleries from 26 countries viennacontemporary offers a unique insight into the vibrant contemporary art scene of Central and Eastern Europe. From September 26 to 29, Austria’s largest art fair invited its visitors to discover a multifaceted gallery scene presenting established artists alongside upcoming positions.

For the Milan Design Week, the editor is presenting an exclusive selection of these rugs made by Patrizia Moroso.

During the Milan Furniture Fair, the Golran carpet company – with the artistic direction of the Francesca Avossa agency – is presenting the new collection of rugs Garden of Eden, designed by India Mahdavi and inspired by the ancient and pregnantly symbolic tradition of Persian gardens. In addition to this collection, Golran is introducing a new version of the Hunua rug by Piero Lissoni.

CONDIZIONE POP-UP SPACE BY ROBERTO BACIOCCHI

Condizione is the pop-up space conceived by architect Roberto Baciocchi in the Dôme of the Eléphant Paname in Paris. From 5 to 29 April visitors will plunge into a symbolic, urban and intimate space with exclusive pieces created by the Italian architect and designer. Among these Baciocchi has reinterpreted some Golran rugs.

CONVERSATION Golran invites Galleria Luisa Delle Piane

The flagship store on Via Pontaccio is hosting a selection of design pieces chosen by our art director Francesca Avossa studio in Paris from the Galleria Luisa Delle Piane. The Gallery’s design pieces of the 21st century seem to dialogue with a selection of magnificent Chinese carpets from the 20th century produced by Golran and invite us to enter the showroom and discover the quality and century-old tradition behind the brand’s collections.

On the occasion of Maison & Objet, Golran, with the artistic management of Studio Francesca Avossa, is proud to present Hunua, the sartorial collection created in collaboration with architect Piero Lissoni, that combines the art of Nepalese handcraft and rug making with the most sophisticated of tailor-made sartorial details. Together with Hunua, Golran presents a new floral version of the lenticular collection Lake by the duo Raw Edges, winner of the Wallpaper* Design Award 2015.
